and finally, Florence on film.

These photographs were taken on 35mm film, during my time in Florence. I love them because they capture the atmosphere more realistically, more authentically, and more memorably.

The 'Americans in Firenze' exhibition was one of the most curious, and exciting.

I have another roll to come soon, when they're scanned in.

Firenze, the last day.

The last day. I think I have my days muddled up somewhere in my previous posts, but nonetheless.
On the last day, we ate our posh breakfast, shopped, said our dues to the beautiful Firenze, and exhausted ourselves walking, adventuring, eating, spending what we'd saved, and just making the most of it. I can't quite describe how much I loved it.

Firenze, Day 11

11/14
We took the train to Pisa, and toured the city's main square, then ventured through its narrow, winding streets for lunch. We took pictures at the leaning tower, and laughed at the other tourists leaning the wrong way.
When we got back to Florence, we went out for cocktails and spent the night out.
