Firenze, Day Six

6/14
A morning at the Uffizi, and an afternoon at Palazzo Vecchio. Later, we visited the synagogue, and then walked up to Piazza Michelangelo, and Santa Maria al Monte, sitting in on a service and watching the sunset transform into evening lights.

Firenze, Day Five

5/14
We hopped on a bus and visited Fiesole; its ampitheatre, its monasteries, and its cafes. Back in Florence, we climbed the campanile, and saw even the Duomo's dome from a great height. Then to the Medici Palace, and Santa Maria Novella.

Firenze, Day Four

4/14
We climbed to the top of the Duomo, and saw the city from the sky. We saw the Museo Dell'Opera del Duomo, and the understated inside of the cathedral and overstated baptistry. We went down into the crypt, and then along to Santa Croce, around their leatherworking factory and eloquent graveyard, then sorted Harry's monetary issues and ate pizza and chips at Pizzaman - an Italian/American diner by Santa Croce. That evening, we followed a Victorian dressed crowd, but they turned out to be going to dinner, not performing in the street. We listened to street music, and ambled home.

Firenze, Day Three

3/15
We met Harry, visited Dante's museum, our suitcase arrived, and we sat and watched sunset on the Ponte Vecchio.
